Merry Christmas!

My goodness I cannot believe Christmas is here and over so quick! This is my favorite time of the year, and though I've been so busy, it was so lovely to have a relaxing Christmas today.
Though I do get a few presents here&there, I love giving gifts far, far more.  Seeing Anthony's face when he saw the Fender Deluxe Reverb I got him was so fun!  Though he didn't "ask" for it, it's the thing he wanted most but totally did not ever think he would be getting anytime soon (after I got him his '64 Gretsche and strymon reverb pedal months ago, this was the one thing missing!), so it was such a joy to give him such a big surprise!  That, and visiting with those I love the most made today so wonderful!
Merry Christmas everyone..or God Jul to all my Swedes out there!

Within the last 2 months I was lucky enough to stumble upon 2 of the most amazing vintage velvet dresses; perfect for Christmas!  Yesterday I wore this awesome green one that I found at a thrift store in San Francisco, complete with a nice bow on the back, puffy sleeves, and a full skirt complete with some itchy tulle underneath.

This morning I unraveled my pin curls and threw on this lovely little velvet burgundy number that I scored at a thrift store for $2!  This beaut has the most amazing lace collar, and it is a perfect fit which is rare for me to find!

So silly!

    You always dress so pretty.
Have you ever tried loose Hollywood waves?
I think they'd look real nice on you.
