Cord & Crochet

Corduroy and crochet on a Sunday.
I'm loving this June gloom so very much; this past Sunday for a breakfast outing and a trip to the farmers market I put on my trusty circle skirt, cozy crochet sweater, and a vintage neck scarf and it felt almost authentically Autumn-like but with bright colored flowers instead of warm hued leaves.  It was quite lovely, and the gloom has continued throughout this week so I have taken refuge in some comfy sweaters and vintage blazers for my office style this week and have thoroughly enjoyed doing so; it's a nice calm before the crazy temperature sun storm that'll come real soon...sigh.

As I was strolling around picking up my weekly dose of organic veggies and such Anthony snuck on over to buy me these amazing flowers, he always makes sure to keep our room filled with fresh beautiful plants and it is really such a joy!  Once we got them home an rested atop my sewing machine and went about our business, I'd catch myself from time to time glancing up around my room and being delightfully impressed by their vibrancy!  Literally about 4 or 5 times that day I'd say to Anthony "wow! just look, look at them! I mean that blue! the magenta! so vibrant and beautiful!" haha.

    1. Thank you so much! I definitely agree about the flowers, I'm still quite awe struck! Definitely got to go back to the same farmer at the farmer's market and see if he has more!
