Pigeon Point

After leaving beautiful San Francisco we headed down Pacific Coast Highway 1 and paid a visit to Pigeon Point.  The weather was perfection; the grey sky, wind, and brisk air was seriously breathtaking, and the eerie lighthouse set atop the cliffs looking over the moody waves crashing against the rocks was the perfect setting to spend a good deal of time admiring before heading home, and I definitely plan to visit again next time I'm up North.

This just about wraps up my (very delayed, sorry!) posts from my latest trip to SF!  I'll share a couple film photos I got back from this trip in my next post.  And in case you missed it, you can see the first post with photos from Fort Point here, views from atop the fort right under the Golden Gate Bridge and to the wharf here, the super dreamy photos from the first sunrise of Autumn atop Twin Peaks here, shots from around the city here, and my favorite 1960's get-up here

    1. Oh thank you dear! Haha I certainly have my share of not-so perfect picture places that I travel to, but those just aren't as fun to photograph!

  3. I love this lighthouse. It's been a while since I have seen one in person. They're so calming. I wish I could go up in one sometime! Lighthouse tour!

    Love, Polly :)

    1. This was the first lighthouse I have been to and I fell absolutely in love. Would be so cool to go up in one. I'd love to see all the amazing lighthouses on the East coast, there aren't a big abundance of 'em here in CA that's for sure.
