Our Grand European Adventure

Well, for those of you who haven't yet heard from me through instagram, here's to the official announcement of my and Anthony's big adventure coming up real too soon here!!  On February 3rd we are leaving for Europe where we'll be spending a little over three months traveling and having our biggest adventure yet.
First up is London, then off to Barcelona, and then we arrive in Paris where we'll stay for 8 nights (with Valentines day included in that stay, cue the "awe's").  Then we're taking the Thello night train to Venice to explore around that magical city on water before heading to Rome for 10 nights.  Then, on March 7th we'll be arriving in Gothenburg, Sweden where we will be staying with a friend for a few nights before traveling to Stockholm for a bit and then finally making our way up to the Fagersta area where we will be for about 8 weeks.  During that time we plan to travel all around Sweden with our dear friends and see as much as we possibly can, also hoping to see a good amount of snow while we are there because us Southern California natives need a real Winter for once, and we can't wait!  Then on May 5th we will say goodbye to Sweden as we head over to Reykjavik, Iceland for 5 days before returning home on May10th.
Now this brings me to the question of what to do with this blog while I am away.  I'm not planning to edit or go through photos I take on my camera while I am there so would you all be happy seeing a post once a week or so with some shots from my iPhone or..?  What would you all like to see here on Finch & Fawn during these next few months?
Also, any must-visit places to eat/drink/see or tips you may have for any of these lovely places we'll be visiting I'd absolutely love to hear about so please share!

  1. You need to make sure you visit the Latina area in Paris it's not far from Norte Dame I was their last year for valentines and we went to this gorgeous little restaurant (that I can't remember the name, sorry) that had someone playing the piano and a women singing jazz it was perfection. The food was amazing too. Don't expect people to be all dresses up though someone turned up in sweats (no joke) and their was me in a full on frock not that I cared. Paris is a beautiful, beautiful city with so much character you will love it. I will defo still be following your travels what ever you decide to do with your blog. :)
