Versailles - Part 1

It's been forever since I last shared some photos from our 3 month trip to Europe, but thankfully since I am still on Winter break from school I've had a bit of time to catch up on sorting and editing some photos.
On this great grey, windy, and freezing cold morning in Paris (and I mean really freezing to the point where it was actually painful to take of my coats for a couple of photos) we hopped on the metro and headed to Versailles.  We got there before the palace opened and so we got to stroll around the gardens for a while and had the whole place to ourselves, it was just unreal.  When the palace opened we spent a handful of hours inside, amazed at every corner and every inch of the place.  I also packed this outfit here specifically to wear somewhere in Paris and Versailles ended up being the perfect place for it; the top is a vintage 40's number that I got from Adored Vintage, the skirt is from American Apparel, and heels from Modcloth.

  1. You definitely picked the best time to go - Versailles is perfect in the morning when it's not teeming with tourists! Love your outfit here too, the skirt is gorgeous!
